ACARD AEC-4420P is a converter that can turn an internal IDE interface into an external USB one. It is chiefly used together with ACARD??s Copy Smart Plus series. It plays a role of bridge between a duplicate controller and a computer.
You can connect AEC-4420P to a writer on the duplicate controller. Thus, the writer will become an external writer. If you match the external writer with ACARD??s Ha! CD Burner (+DVD), it will be the best solution for data backup.
Besides, you can connect AEC-4420P to a hard drive on the copy controller, too. And through ACARD??s Image Management Program you can manage those image files stored in the hard drive.
